Jaylen Clark is a dynamic wing that plays basketball at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and is an Inland Empire native. Jaylen, lovingly known as JROCK, was raised in Corona, California where he spent all of his early introduction years of sports in the Bobby Bonds Community Center in Riverside, California. The “Bonds” and the phenomenal people who volunteered and worked at the center that poured countless hours into him, helped mold him as a player, but more importantly as a person.

Jaylen’s mission is to uplift and support the community that supported him, promote positivity and educate through the sport that he loves, basketball. He understands that hard work, determination and perseverance along with support, can help a kid rise above their current circumstance.

Jaylen’s camp focus is to impart skills, techniques, discipline and most importantly fun. He wants the kids to grow their passion and drive to take them wherever they strive to be. Jaylen knows basketball is not the only skill the kids will need to embody success. Jaylen is not only talented on the basketball court, but he is talented academically. In order to participate in basketball, he had to maintain his academic status throughout high school and UCLA.

Jaylen wants the kids to know that success is not achieved by luck or accident, but rather achieved through hard work, discipline, preparation and perseverance. Regardless of what others say and think, always believe in you, remain positive and keep your dreams in front of you.
